My grandson has been smoking for sometime now and we bought my granddaughter a pack of cigarettes and a lighter as added Christmas presents because she was smoking behind our backs and she was always in denial and lied to the whole family. this was despite neighbours seeing her smoking and telling her parents and although we smoke we could always smell smoke on her. She was embarrassed to smoke in front of us at first, now it's become second nature for her to light up. We can tell she's a lot more relaxed, not edgy in wanting to go for a walk or up to the shops just to escape and have a ciggie. She's 12.
