Date Posted: 21:14:00 09/04/23 Mon In reply to: Alicja 's message, "Telling my daughter I have COPD" on 12:57:09 09/04/23 Mon hi alicia, it depends if you wanna tell her how smoking is bad for health or not, if you want she tries it one day without culpability, maybe keeping that for later would be better, actually I don't think smoking is the only cause for copd or cancer, it's only a factor and the studies say exactly that, other factors are if you sleep well, eat well, hydrate you well, exercice daily, taking air and sun, gathering family and friends, as I told you on reddit, my mother has copd stage 2 since a long time now, stable with treatment, switched from 3 to 2ppd (except on special occasions, she can go to 3 easily), I smoke a pack per day for now, started again recently, I wish I could afford more, I was quite a heavy smoker before quit, almost 2ppd, I wish I could smoke that much to satisfy my needs, my lungs are ok for now, if I had copd, I think I would reduce a little and take the treatment as my mother did [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
