Under 10 - under 16 preliminary light/heavy jig and reel competitions : Any girl that has not recalled in the 3rd round championship at the world championships in the previous 2 years is eligible to compete. Any boy who has not placed in his championship at the world championships in the previous 2 years is eligible to compete.
