Author: Judges need to be held accountable and need to provide marks for ALL dancers that pay to compete! Would soon show up the favours! (Disappointed U12 parent)
Subject: Thanks for confirming what we already suspected. Sadly nothing will be done about it. I have supported feises for many years and seen my DD buried depending on the panel. Now we have made a decision not to support feises with panels that we know who the top 5 are going to before they have even danced. The results are boring now as most adjudicators can’t make up their own minds and never judge on the day just past results and of course favours for their dance friends thrown in the mix too!
In reply to: But, truth is. It’s true. My colleagues sit next to me & their scores are based off favours or hatred. They relish in it. I would like parents to know that some of us are really trying to break this pattern. It must come from the top of the Organisation though. 's message, "I’ve been an Adjudicator for many years. It pains me to see my Organisation being subjected to such accusations & poor experiences." on Wed, Sep 25 2024, 22:59:40
