Inevitably there are more dancers leaving disappointed than there are leaving happy. Some kids danced 2 or maybe 3 lovely rounds and they just wernt what the judges were looking for on the day and are left sorely disappointed.. By all means winners should celebrate but spare a thought for those dancers who are bitterly disappointed, as many were.

Adjudicators should also bear this in mind when recalling or placing dancers, solo recalls in particular seemed to be harsh, many competitions could have had more recalls in solos. Majority of competitions seemed to have a big difference in the amount recalled for each solo. Is there a specific number of recalls based on number of dancers for solos or is it at the adjudicators discretion?
