For the 13 year old, nothing works finer than a paddle. You may need to make one yourself or search for 1 on Ebay. A pants-down, OTK blistering with that board will produce very quick results. Congrats on your courage.

I would look at a sporting goods store for pickle ball paddles. Large enough to look scary, but in reality not to painful. They do make a smack though. Often antique stores will have items that can be used. I have an old sorority paddle that is shaped like a key. The rounded end is about 6 inches across and makes for a nice paddle with the key end making a nice handle. When applied to the bare bottom, 6 on each cheek, notice is taken.

As for belts and strop. My dad had grandpa's razor strop and my brother and I danced to it many times out in the garage with our jeans down. Keep up the good work.
