Yes, these are great girdles. I have 8 of them dating back to the 1980's. They hold their shape and support quite like the original. If you get one, it will probably be like the original shaper. They really do hold their shape after years of wearing them. The panty style without legs are still available in the UK. It truly is a shame that Playtex no longer sells the panty girdle with legs, I would buy 10 of them on the spot if they ever came back. They are more than a first girdle, they are the ultimate girdle
