Mine was an OBG
Part of the "Always 21" Line
The 3521 had 2 flat wide stays in the front non paneled 1 narrower stil stay next to the zipper(That one was always rupturing. I repllace several stays more than once)
1 Slightly narrower stay in the downstretch side panel and 2 coil wire stays in the back panel.

It had 6 garters and you had to have at least the front and back ones fastened to holds it in place.

I always fastened the side ones as well to make the stockings fit more comfortable

The 1521 simply had all 4 panels made of rigid nylon.
Less comfortable.

The 1421 was basically a 1521 but in 14 inch length.

I am told the 3621 DID exist, simply the 16 inch length version of the 3521 but I was never avle to acquire one.

Surprisinglly comfortable and great for holding my tummy in.

You progably have experienced this for yourself but the reason I liked OBG was that you could go quite a bit firmer with less loss of comfort.

The downside it that I had to wear stockings under my clothes including my work boots.

It also was anotherr layer of non-breathing fabric in the summer in the Southeastern US!
