Boy, that is the absolute truth but I don't know too many that would acknowledge wearing a girdle today. For some reason back in the 1960's this idea of women's lib started and the first item to go was the girdle, next the garter belt and finally stockings gave way to panty hose which gave way to slacks or jeans. Nothing was better than a firm feeling woman and a great girdle! And for myself, a great girdle is the height of comfort. Too bad male girdles have no style or beauty. So now, swelling and spongy ankles has given way to support stockings. I rely on compression hose and fearsome open bottom Rago girdle everyday. Just can't beat that without a Va Bien or Vanity Fair panty.
