Hello Bill, my Smoothie is model number 6828. It's what I would consider a firm control girdle. It's a size medium. While wearing it, I definitely don't forget I'm tightly girdled.

Your correct, wearing a girdle for around 8 hours isn't all that long for many. And for the most part, it's not a long time for me either based on comfort. But it's a long time based on the fact that I'm in public, socializing, being around family, going in restaurants, and driving for several hours. All relatively new girdle experiences I've enjoyed lately.

Stepping into a long leg girdle, and pulling it on, knowing I'll be wearing it for several hours while away from home is awesome and I really enjoy it.
