Being fairly new to the pageant world I loved having my daughter compete in ANTSO. Our state director is phenomenal and the experience has been great. Yes lots of bad things were said @ Nationals and since. I truly believe that you have to take it all with a grain of salt. I myself have listened to people talking but also have tried to not let them sway my own judgement. Yes I have had questions and reached out for answers but I also remember to take mine and my daughters experience into consideration. She had a blast and made lifelong friends. She will be giving up her crown early this next year and she may compete the following year since she will be in another age division.

People just need to ask questions if they need to but remember that " everyones experience is different." All of these amazing young women are there because they are "the Best of the Best" or "everyone leaves Nationals as a queen!" as Miss Dale said.

Yes it is helpful to have scores and placings but we all need to remember that pageants are a WONDERFUL experience for these girls. I'm so very glad that we discovered the world of pageantry and all of the incredible adventures that it has brought us and the invaluable life lessons that it has taught my daughter!!!!
