Yes, I went with a girlfriend to her gynecologist. The female doctor examined her since she was pregnant. Suddenly she says, "your're going to get a shot." I was in shock and my girlfriends face turned colors. This was the last thing we ever imagined. My girlfriend said, "What?" The doctor said it was a Rhogam shot since her husband's blood type was different. I believe that was the reason. So the doctor leaves and a nurse comes in with a tray. I saw the needle and almost died...lol It was very large. What made things even worse, she told my girlfriend to bend her entire arm behind her back. She rolled up her sleeve and I could see her muscle was very tight. I never saw it given that way. She jabs the needle in and my girlfriend yelled out and began crying. When it was over, my girlfriend was crying and holding her arm. As we walked through the reception area, she was still crying and holding her arm. I pity the people waiting in the reception area..lol The shot hurt her for about 2 days. I never knew they gave those in the arm. Nor did I ever see a nurse make someone hold their arm behind their back tightening the muscle....Weird....
