I got a call from my doctor telling me I needed to come in and get treated for strept. I said can't you just call it in to the pharmacy. The nurse said no, the doctor wanted me to get a injection. Turns out he prefers to give shots since most people will not complete all of their meeication. I am out in a room and few minutes later this male nurse who I recognized from the gym comes in carrying this big syringe. Oh you are the unlucky one getting this. I look at the shot and it is really looks big filled with a white medicine. He closes the door and then tells me I need to lie flat on my stomach and unfasten my jeans. I lower them down and I see him looking at my bare butt in a thong. He wipes a spot and then smacks my bare butt really hard and then I felt him put what felt like a pencil in my ass. I scream out and he waits for me to relax and then tells me to breath slowly as he pushed that thick stuff in my butt. I am bawling like a baby when he is done. I notice a long blood trail running down my butt. He wipes it off and put a bandiad on the spot and then an ice pack. My butt is still sore for that shot. that has to be the worst shot you can get in your butt. Everyone knew in the wiating room I got a shot im my ass because I was holding it as I limped out.

Hi,
There's something I don't get here. I live in New York. I don't know one person who would go along with any doctor who wanted to give them a penicillin shot instead of trying pills first; Especially if they were already back home? In 30 years, I haven't known any doctor to even offer a shot other then in an ER. And most people I know would choose the pills before resorting to any shot. It is true that a shot may work a day or two faster then pills, but the pain of the shot can also add to ones sickly feeling as well......I'm curious, is this different outside of New York maybe?

This morning when I came in for my shift in the ER my doctor noticed I was not feeling very good. I told him my throat was really sore. He placed me in a room and examined me. He said you have a inflammed throat. he said I am going to have someone give you a shot of penicillin and decadron and then you go home and rest. I said if you don't mind I am going to have Jim give me the injections. I found Jim and told him I needed to speak with him. I told him that I needed 8mg of decadron and 1.2 million units of bicillin. he came in with the two injections and I got up on the table and laid down. Jim said you sure you want me to give you these two shots. I said I have heard patients say you give a good shot and to tell you the truth I am very nervous about getting that bicillion shot and I trust you. He untied my scrubs and pulled them down and then he pulled down my green panties. he said I am going to give you the decadron as he wiped my left hip and then I felt him jab me and inject. He wiped a spot on my right cheek and as he pinched my butt muscle he buried the 18g needle deep in my hip. I yelled out and grabbed the sides of the bed as he slowly injected. I begin to tear up as he injected. he said I am sorry Iknow this does not feel good. He pulled out the needle and I could feel the blood trail running down my hip. He wiped off the blood and placed a bandaid on it. I asked him to rub both of my bare cheeks for a few moments. He helped me get my panties and scrubs back up. I limped around the room rubbing my butt. Tonight my bottom still is aching but my throat feels better.
