I am a freshman in college and I was sent to the health clinic yesterday for my DTAP. My friend Beth was just leaving as I arrived. I have to get the DTAP I told her. I just got mine. The male nurse is really good. She pulled down her shorts and showed me the snoopy bandaid on her butt cheek. Trust me you want it in your bottom. It hurts a lot less. As I was filling out the form I started to get very nervous. I absolutely hate shots. My name was called and I slowly approached the room. I saw the shot lying on the counter. You look terrified the nurse said. Arm or hip he says? MY friend just told me it hurts less in the butt. Yes it does. More muscle mass and you work it into the muscle as you walk. Lean the end of the gurney he told me. He pulled down my green nylon shorts and then my panties. I felt him grab my left butt cheek, squeeze and then a stab as he poked me and injected. He pulled out the needle and slowly using his fingers worked it into my cheek. As he pulls up my panties he says next week come back for your flu shot. You did really good. I was surprised I barely felt the injection. Today my butt does not hurt and I am going back for my flu shot with my friend Beth.

I was at work yesterday and went over to the Tropical Café for lunch. This girl in front of me was on the phone telling her friend that she had to go get a flu shot for school and she was not happy. While waiting for our food I struck up a conversation with her and told her she could come next door to our clinic. She said last year I got the shot and my arm hurt for days afterwards. Well this year I can tell you it won't hurt. Why is that? Well you are very thin and your arms are so thin. Now if you don't mind getting it in your butt cheek you have more muscle there so the medication is absorbed better plus as you walk you work it in your muscle. We both got our food and afterward she walked over to the clinic with me. I placed her in a room and went and drew up the injection. I came back in the room and closed the door. I told her to unzip her jean shorts. I pulled down her shorts revealing her bare untanned bottom. I had her lean over the gurney and squeezed a handful of her butt cheek and placed the needle deep in her butt and slowly injected. I pulled out the needle and slowly worked it into her muscle. I watched as she pulled up her shorts. I will come back next month for my tetanus shot from you.
