Subject: ANESTHESIA CAN HURT YOUR CHILD

Children are steadily more often put under general anesthesia, also for procedures where this is not necessary. for example dental procedures, skin prosedures, radiologic imaging and endoscopic examinations that are not surgeries.

In these cases the total fear and discomfort can be managed better with milder means, since the induction of anesthesia and the discomfort caused by the anesthesia afterwards are often considerable.

Tha main reason doctors prefere to use so much anesthesia on children is to hinder the child and the parents to know about details with the procedure and to tell those to other people, and because they often do other secret additional exams not told about.

Another reason is a massive lobbying by anesthesiologists, medical companies and producent of anesthesiological equipment for the sake employment and proffit.

But there is mounting evidence that general anetshesia can harm the neural, intellectual and otherwise mental development of the child, and the anesthesia also poses an accute risk of injury generally undercommunicated.
