Well. After learning the theory (aseptic technique, landmarks etc.) we had to get together with a partner and practice on each other. While the SubQ injections didn't bother me, the IM injections actually hurt in that practice.

What kind of stuff did you inject each other during the practice? Something other than saline?

Normally saline shouldn't cause pain. But maybe those injections weren't technically the best...
