I agree, Tim. Many many mothers do love seeing their kids being put through this. Why else would there be so many home videos online of kids/teens being given shots by their mothers while kicking/screaming/protesting? There are usually observers in the videos laughing and mocking the poor kid through the whole ordeal. The only reason a mother would allow something like that to be made available for all the world to see is for enjoyment.
This forum shows that there are quite a lot of people with a fetish or kink about getting/giving/witnessing the trauma of injections. Some of them are bound to be mothers. Or nurses.

In my youth I certainly regarded getting shots in the arm rather than the bottom as a rite of passage but it isn't only mothers who enjoy watching boys injected back there.
When a receptionist admitted her enjoyment of holding boys across her lap for injections, she explained, "It's fun seeing the shots go into somebody else's bare bottom for a change!"
