I got my shots today and yes I said shots! I was hoping I would only have to get one shot but when I got to the clinic I was informed that my mother had called and asked for them to carefully check my records.
Instead of a tetanus shot I was led back to a room where the nurse informed me that I would also be receiving a mmr booster, chicken pox shot, hepatitis a/b combo shot, meningitis shot as well as the hpv shot. Great six shots total! The nurse left the room and informed me that she would be back with the shots.
When she came back she informed me that they no longer had the hepatitis a/b combo shot that I would be receiving the hepatitis b shot as well so now instead of six shots I was to receive seven shots.
I was told that I would receive the tetanus, hepatitis a and chicken pox shots in my left arm and hepatitis b, mmr and meningitis in my right arm. When I asked about the hpv shot I was told that that shot needed to be given in my hip. Yes I had to bend over the table and expose my rear end for that shot.
First my left arm one by one the nurse darted three long needles into my arm. The first two were not bad but the tetanus hurt really bad. Next she injected three more times in my right arm the worse being meningitis. Now came time for the big one as I turned around and lowered my track pants exposing my pasty white ass for the nurse to inject. She swabbed my left cheek and darted the needle into my rear causing me to whimper but as she injected the hpv shot my whimpers turned to tears as the medication began to burn I was begging her to stop. Finally after what seemed like an eternity she withdrew the needle and applied a band aid to the injection site.
As I pulled my track pants up I was informed that I would need to come back in one month for the second hepatitis b and second hpv shot and then again in six months for the second chicken pox shot, second hepatitis a shot and final hepatitis b and hpv shots.
I am not looking forward to that!
