Subject: Warm moist towels after injections are given

 I had to receive a few injections at home. The visiting nurse told me I'd be getting them in my buttocks. She had me lay face down, lowered my underpants and told me she'd be right back. She left the room with a basin and three small towels. She set the basin down. I could see steam coming from the water in it. She got her supplies and started. She swabbed by left and right hip, then quickly injected me. The shots were painful. She immediately grabbed one of the towels, shook it and cooled it off a bit, then laid it on my hips. Then she swabbed by butt cheeks and repeated the injecting in each butt cheek with the two syringes. All four were 1 1/2" 18g needles. Then the warm almost hot towels were draped on my buttocks. Though not as painful as the hip shots, these butt injections certainly were made to feel a bit better with the towels on them. The hip shots were as I said painful, and despite the warm moist towel, I was sore for at least two days. Butt injections weren't too bad, but those that got put in my hips really hurt.
