For a grown man to cry from booster shots and require his father's presence seems a bit of exaggeration.

I get regular travel boosters in my bottom every six months and, when everything expires at once, it is eight injections (four in each buttock). Although the after-effects can leave me unable to sit down for a day or so, the shots are just brief stings when I get them - never enough to provoke tears.
