I'm doubtful about the veracity of the last person who posted about penicillin given in the testicles and penis. The product literature says for early syphilis, two injections are given in a large muscle like your butt or thigh. I've had bicillin shots for step throat and they weren't as bad as some people claim. Rocephin burns more, but it's not intolerable.
