Subject: Injection experience from last year's Diwali

This incident happened during last year's October, around the time of Diwali. Those who celebrate Diwali already know that most people clean their entire house and buy decorative items from the market. The same was happening at my home as well. Just for context, I am a male in my late 20s. I am in good shape and have been working out consistently for more than four years. I never skip leg day, so I have well developed quads, hamstrings, and glutes. I would also say I am reasonably good looking based on the positive responses I receive from women, whether friends, colleagues, etc. Anyway, enough bragging let's get back to the story.

I was helping my mother with cleaning the house, and there was an old desert cooler sitting in one corner. We decided to move it to another place because it had become rusty and was taking unnecessary space since we no longer used it after buying an AC, to shift it, we first needed to lift it off a metal stand. While lifting it, I got a cut on my right thumb from a hidden metal strip inside the grass pad. The strip was used to secure the grass pad so it would not move while the cooler was running. After placing the cooler in the storeroom, I went to the washroom and cleaned my hand with soap and running water.

The cut was bleeding. Since the metal strip was rusty and covered in dust, getting a TT injection seemed like the most logical thing to do. I planned to take the injection that evening, but due to some work I could not go. The next morning around 10 AM, I visited the clinic. The clinic was empty at the time. Only two people were there the doctor and her assistant, who dispensed medicines, both are female. My doctor is probably in her 50s, and the assistant seems in her early 20s. They were smiling and talking to each other. There is a small wooden cabin behind the doctor's chair where the assistant usually sat and there is small window in the wall from there she and doctor communicate with each other this window is hardly 2 feet away from the chair so she could easily hear the conversations happening in the room.

I entered the clinic, greeted the doctor, and she acknowledged me with a gentle smile. I sat on the stool and started explaining the cut on my hand. Meanwhile, I also noticed the assistant looking in my direction and listening to our conversation. Before leaving home for the clinic, I had been thinking about what it would feel like to receive an injection on the buttocks. I had not received one there in a very long time, probably not since childhood. During my conversation with the doctor, the thought stayed in my mind continuously. When I asked for the TT injection, the doctor said:

"Beta, waise to ye superficial cut hai, itna deep nahi hai. But agar tumhe risk nahi lena to TT lelo, main injection laga deti hoon."(Son, this seems like a superficial cut and not very deep, but if you dont wan't to take any risk I recommend TT shot, I can give it to you)

She then asked me to bring the injection from the nearby pharmacy. There was a chemist shop hardly 20 meters away from the clinic. I asked the shopkeeper for a TT injection, and he gave me a Bett vaccine ampoule and a 2 ml syringe. The total cost was 18 Rupees (13 for the injection and 5 for the syringe). I paid through UPI and returned to the clinic. The doctor took the ampoule and syringe. First, she opened the syringe packet, then broke the ampoule and started filling the syringe, at that moment, I felt both nervous and excited. I could feel sensations in my stomach, and at the same time I felt hesitant because I noticed the assistant continuously watching in my direction. I knew that by default the injection would probably be given in my shoulder, but I was curious about getting it on my buttocks instead. I was also curious about the doctor's reaction.

After preparing the injection, she opened a white container filled with cotton soaked in blue colored spirit. While taking some cotton out, I asked her Doctor, can I take this injection in the backside? I travel by bike, and it might become difficult to ride if my shoulder starts hurting later. She replied, Yes, you can. She then opened the door to the examination cabin attached beside the assistant's section, separated by a wooden wall. She entered the cabin and switched on the light. I followed her inside, and she closed the door behind us.

Inside the cabin, there was a bed and a small stool used to climb onto it. The doctor stood beside me. First, I removed my shoes. Internally, I was feeling extremely nervous and excited. Then I stepped onto the stool and climbed onto the bed, at that moment, I was kneeling on the bed, wearing a T-shirt and jeans. I first opened my belt, then unbuttoned and unzipped my jeans, lowering them to my thighs. Now I was only in my underwear. After that, I lay down on my stomach while the doctor stood beside me on the left, after a few seconds, I slightly lifted my hips and slid my underwear down completely. At that moment, my buttocks were fully exposed to her. I could feel the cold air from the fan and the AC on my skin.

The doctor came closer and cleaned my left buttock with the spirit soaked cotton. It felt cold. Then she inserted the needle. It did not pain I only felt a small prick. I was fully immersed in the experience. Since it was only a 0.5 ml injection, the process was over within 2 or 3 seconds, after removing the needle, she placed cotton on the injection spot and gently massaged the area for around 15 or 20 seconds. I actually liked the massage. Usually doctors massage the spot for only a few seconds, this felt slightly longer than normal I guess she also enjoyed it. Once she was done, I pulled my underwear and jeans back up and fixed my belt and really wanted to see her expressions, When I turned toward her, I could see shine in her eyes also noticed a light smile on her face.

We then came out of the cabin. She asked whether I had applied any ointment to the wound. I said no, and she suggested using Betadine ,after that, I thanked the doctor, paid the consultation fee, and left the clinic.

She is my family doctor and genuinely cares for her patients, so I felt comfortable with her. I have been visiting this clinic since childhood, so there is a sense of trust and familiarity. If it had been the assistant or some other person giving the injection, I probably would have chosen the shoulder instead.

So, this was my story. Sorry if it does not contain exaggerated "ooh" and "aah" moments, as it is a real life experience. I am also interested in giving injections, although that is still a desire yet to be fulfilled with a right person.
