I had shots before and thought I was only needing the hepatitis b and meningitis shots but when two nurses came back I knew something was up. One by one I let out a small scream that should developed into tears. When they finished with the six shots I started to pull my shorts up and had forgot about the seventh shot. The nurse told me I had one more. My rear was on fire from the tetanus shot which I thought was the worse one. I received mmr, meningitis, hepatitis a, hepatitis b, tetanus and chicken pox shots all in my rear. The last shot I was told was the HPV shot and I had heard horror stories about this one and now it was my turn to receive it. I begged to the nurse that I did not want the shot but she said it was best to get it now while my father's insurance still covered the shot. As I turned around and saw the nurse uncap the needle I was begging more and more not to receive the shot. The nurse held the long needle in front of me and said to just relax and it would be over in a second. The other nurse consoled me and tried to distract me but once I felt the sharp needle in my butt I screamed out in fear and soon as the nurse injected that medicine in me my screams turned to tears. I limped out of the clinic rubbing my rear and wiping tears from my face. Every kid in there was terrified of what was about to happen to them next. I wish I could say that the ordeal is over but I have to go back in a month for another HPV shot and Hepatitis B shot.
