First & foremost it's not difficult to relax your tush.
It is however very hard to tell your "fight or flight" reflex to shut-up if you've had negative experiences getting shots in the tush.

I have discovered recently, a nurse with good technique & gentle hands CAN make at least vacinations painless. I suspect ... IF(knock on wood).... I ever have to get an antibiotic shot from her I'll probably be blubbering just like a kid

....but here's the catch, at least as I understand it

Regardless of technique, gentleness or any other palpable measurement, the thicker medicines like antibiotics hurt like hell & there's nothing the nurse can really do about it..

Just my 2 cents
