Hi i am 22 suffering from high fever and doctor diagnosed it as viral fever.i have been prescribed couple of antibiotics and injections(2cc+2cc).So my injection course has started yesterday and he said it will go on for six days.So two injections are over till now and the pain s very severe that i am not able to sleep.My doubt is will i be able to bear the pain since t s very continuous.Tell me some tips to be followed after getting the shot on how to avoid the pain.I am given injection on either buttocks alternatively in the lying position.Though my fever has gone down this pain s persistent.Please help me with ur suggestions

HI DHARSI OUCH sorry you had to get needles in the butt.the ass can HURT SO BAD when needles are injected there and 2 is horrible with both sides of the butt hurting.sorry your butt hurts i know hte feeling it sucks.if you want to talk let me know leave email.are you male or female?i could tell you my experineces whne i got needles inmy butt.TRY putting ice to numb your ass pain/whendo you have to get more.its soscary knowing the needle is coming to your butt.

Ya finally all six injections in butt itself.I am trying to make some kind of releif by giving hot compressions.But still i am not able to lie down properly.I do not know till how much will t take to recover from this pain.Doctor says it is unavoidable and said i should bear with this pain.Tel if u have any suggestions

HI how are you today/6 injections in the butt OMG that had to sting and HURT SO BAD/I feel for you ONE at a time hurt my ass soso bad getting 6 is killer but Under stand how bad an ass can hurt froma needle its terrible can sit cant sit on toilet either.ARE you MALE or female?hot compresses or ice just gotta wait out the sore ness on ass/mione hurt for 5 days each.did you tense up cklench chhecks whne neede went in? i could not help it i tensed up hurt so bad/write me backand best of luck for the ass pain to stop hurting

I was making my rounds yeaterday visiitng the doctors that I call on regularly. I was not feeling well and had a horrible cough. I was at my second office and Jim the nurse there asked if I was feeling good and I told him not really. He took my temperature and it was 102.4. He said Beth you should not be out,but home in bed. I told him my throat was sore just as the doctor came in to sign my papers. Jim told the doctor I was running a fever and not feeling good. He said really and said let me look at your throat. WoW! You got a nasty looking throat. He told Jim to run a rapid strept test which came back positive. About 20 minutes later Jim comes back in with 3 syringes and closed the door. He wants me to give you a gram of rocephin and a steroid injection. He said don't worry I mixed the rocephin with lidocaine. Even though I sell it I have never had a shot of it, but i know that it burns from what I have been told. I was also embarrased because I knew I was going to have to bare my bottom in front of Jim. Jim said Beth I can go get one of the other nurses if this is going to embarrass you. I said no Jim, I hate shots and I trust you. I stood up and unzipped my skirt and took it off. I was standing there in my knee high boots, red panties and red sweater. Don't I look funny and as I got up on the table. He pulled down my panties to mid thigh. He wiped a spot and said Beth and put the first needle in my butt and injected. WOW that hurts as i grabbed the table. That was the decadron. He rubbed my achy bun a few moments. he swatted my other bare bun 2 and then poked me with the needle and slowly injected. Sorry for slapping you cute little bottom, but this stuff hurts. My bottom was stinging from the slap I never felt him jab me with the needle or feel the injection. He massaged that hip a few moments. I said slap the other cheek before you stick me. Once again he delivered to firm whacks to my hip and gave me my last shot. He put bandaids on all 3 sites and again massaged my bare butt a few moments. He pulled up my panties and helped me off the table. I put on my skirt. WOW! My butt feels like it is on fire. I bet it does. I told him if he was not busy he could come by and bring me some soup . He said he could do that.

Oh sad how are you now.It s just embarrassing for a girl to get injection from a male doc/nurse.Is t paining now though i recovered from my injection pain to an extent i just wanted to know how u bared the pain..What are the things u did post-injections to avoid pain.My doctor advised continuous rubbing of butt in standing position for 5min does this really help.I felt good for two days but on third day when i rubbed my butt the previous injections were paining very badly.Somehow recovered from pain of 6 injection and my butt s not ready to get anymore shots

I was out in Denver this past weekend with my boyfirned when I broke my wrist. My boyfriend told the medics he was a nurse and would take me to the ER. We got there and my arm was killing me. They sent me to X-ray where is showed I had a break. They said I would have to go to surgery that night. They asked my boyfriend to get me into a gown. I looked at him and said you are going to enjoy this. One by one he got me out of my snow suit and got me undressed down to my panties. He smacked me on my butt and said you have a cute little butt. A nurse came in and said I have two shots for you for pain and an antibiotic. I told her my boyfriend is a nurse can he please give them to me. She handed them to him and closed the door. He tunred toward me and said honey you need to roll over. He slipped down my panties. I felt the first needle go in my butt and I gripped the table. he was massaging my other butt cheek and i looked over as he uncapped the needle and I saw it as he aimed it at my bottom and I jumped as he poked me. This burns honey as he slowly injected me. I was crying and begging him to pull it out of my butt. Afterward I laid there and he rubbed my very sore butt. He said well you forgot about your arm. When they came to get me I had to lie on my butt on the gurney and that hurt. We are home now, but tomorrow I have to get my tetanus updated so I have already been warned that I will have to bare my bottom once again. I told him it was going to cost him a steak dinner.
