Subject: Today's success....

I got on my treadmill.

I hate, hate, HATE the treadmill. But I'm so close to my goal weight and I'm struggling with the food part of this journey, so more activity is necessary.

About 25 min. into it I looked at my readout and decided I couldn't stop until I hit 45 minutes, 300 calories and three miles. By the time I hit all three it was actually 400 calories, and now I'm a sweaty, jelly-legged mess. But I did it! I even ran in small spurts, something I never do. :-)

How's everyone else doing?

My goal up til now has been 30 min per weekday of exercise. Moved it up to 45 min this week. My addiction to Dr Pepper is waning but still existent. So happy to have broken the 100+ degree streak of our crazy Texas summer. Now walking the dog lasts longer and is more enjoyable. (I don't count it toward my daily activity minutes)
