Subject: I have reported it. But making it public will help people notice cheating and encourage others to report it when they see it
In reply to: ? 's message, "But is a voy forum going to eliminate that problem? Send over the rules where it states, the teacher can then deal with it accordingly." on 07:42:15 05/12/24 Sun

I’m sure this org was created to help dancers and teachers who are sick and tired of the cheating compete in a safe space without all of the negativity and allegations. Therefore it is not only the teachers duty to report but everyone else’s too and if writing on this forum helps to publicise any cheating allegation, it will open up people’s eyes and encourage them to stop what is going on. If everyone spoke up when something was wrong, dancers might actually have a safe space to compete in where results are fair. More fool you if you wish to stay quiet and complicit, you are the problem in dancing.

Furthermore, this teacher knew exactly what the rules were before entering any dancer. Irish dancing had always been right and left foot int he first and second step of each dance at least, yet he feels it’s okay to allow his dancer to just compete right leg through the whole dance. This is not an even playing field and should be stopped.
