Mainland Europe as a whole doesn’t see near as much Irish dancing especially CLRG etc whereas it’s dominant and very prevalent and always was in Ireland and the U.K. so the judges from their would have that background.

Nothing wrong with judges that danced as adults… they all go through the same process training for their ADCRG including judging with another judge who monitors their judging (their judging doesn’t count for results during training)
