Subject: To those who wrote the previous post targeting a disabled dancer

I work for Disability Rights UK and I am horrified by the post. The content of this post is not only wholly inappropriate it is discriminatory, invasive, and deeply harmful.

The fact that the person making these comments may be a teacher makes this situation even more appalling. Educators are entrusted with safeguarding vulnerable individuals, not exploiting their positions of authority to intimidate, mock, or belittle them.

Disclosing or speculating about someones private affairs, such as whether they receive PIP is an egregious invasion of privacy. Doing so in a public forum with malicious intent toward someone known to be neurodivergent is a clear act of ableism and harassment.

This behaviour unlawful. Under the Equality Act 2010, individuals with disabilities are protected from discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. The online bullying of a disabled person, especially when it involves persistent targeting, derogatory remarks, or public disclosure of sensitive personal information may amount to a hate crime and could be subject to civil or criminal proceedings.

I will be reporting this content and the website hosting it to the appropriate authorities and digital platforms. I am also exploring legal avenues, including the identification of the individual responsible via IP tracing and pursuing further action if necessary.

The individual targeted has every right to pursue legal action for defamation, harassment, and discrimination
