Perhaps spell check on this program would be a good idea. However, I decided to run down to Sargent Beach today and was fortunite enough to take a friend along who has a very good understanding of beachfront communites, old and new . He had some comments to make before the trip but realized how mix use the island was upon once we drove down Canal Drive. He stated the group of property owners I had told him about must have an agenda that had not been explained because, as I had said, it would be impossible to undo everything that would need to be undone to make much of a difference at all. I had not mentioned some of the super powers the group of property owners had expected per the Modifications back in April, he couldn't believe they were so brazen! His comment, "if you don't like what you see, sell and move on because that should not be the objective of the group but they should consider civic type groups which is what the individual stated at the April meeting! He stated ' he figured the island was pretty much what it is and all this other crap is a waste of time and good money"! That, "Sargent Beach is about the surf, fishing and relaxing", and we had finally agreed on what I had been saying before the trip! He stated some commercial businesses could help draw visitors which equate to buyers! Just sharing my friends comments and believe what he had to say was sensable. I am very disappointed with the conduct my fellow property owners have displayed and hope when this is finaled out, they will have learned to be more considerate of our Property RIGHTS! Perhaps we can all kiss and make up, if they ask us to, because all humans make mistakes. It just takes a bigger man to admit such mistake! Well said and we are behind you 100% This should have NEVER happened at Sargent Beach and those so call "neighbors" who have done this will find they are the ones that are not welcome on the island. Let's stop this harrassment before it goes any further. Otherwise, all we (who are not "connected") will likely have left is a tax burden and HOA fees, all for someone else's benefit.
