If it was that nice a car why did you not buy it? It would be worth an easy $3000. on the East Coast.

BUT...there are some things that always arouse my suspicions, and these are NO PHOTOS of the car, both the seller and the buyer have ZERO FEEDBACK, and the seller did not even mention police car in the title of the auction. Maybe he is just stupid and the buyer got a good deal, but maybe you smelled something funny also? I did not know about the auction ahead of time so was not able to get any additional info, but I would be uneasy without additional info from the seller.

AND who is silly enough to have an auction end on Christmas Day when most people are busy with the family and not on the internet, just makes me wonder if it was a deal or not?

I considered buying the Coronet, transportation from AZ to the East coast was going to be almost as much as the car. Like you said, Christmas was a busy day here in the North-east and I missed the end of auction. Hope it went to someone I know. "WK" in the VIN indicates police car.
