Re: Woods vs Irons -- Ken, 05:38:58 07/29/14 Tue [1]
Gerry, not at all. I went to the range and hit a medium bucket and by the time I was done I was so confident and comfortable, that went home and emptied my bag of the current clubs. Initially the distance was the same or slightly less than what I was used to. However after a few rounds I was able to increase my distance, and actually had to re-think my club selection depending on where I was in relation to the flag. Get off the fence!

Ken, I have great success with my wedges, especially my sand wedge. Does the Nova's allow me to use my own sand wedge without affecting play using the Nova's? Is the shaft flex considered average or moderate or ...?

Robert, I carry a sand wedge because I have had it for so long and I am very comfortable using it. I do not use it very much because I get wonderful results with the hybrid PW in most situations. I find when I do use the SW, I have no problem adjusting to the shorter length. I not sure what the flex is considered, I just know it has amazing feel and accuracy.
