Subject: I ordered a set of NOVA Hybrid Irons

Well I pulled the plug and ordered a set of NOVA Irons. I'm 76 years old and have been playing with a set of all Hybrid clubs with the same result every game, some good shots but mostly bad shots. My handicap is 24 for a less than 7000 yd. course. With the clubs I have now I never know where the ball is going, I've only been playing golf since I was 69 years old so I'm not an old timer at golf, however I'm still very active, ride motorcycle, walk, hunt etc. Tell me I haven't made a mistake.

Son, you did not make a mistake! You made the best decision possible for golf game. These clubs brought me back from the brink, and now I cannot wait to get back to the course. Give them a little time and patience and you will be just fine.

Sorry this reply is months after your plea for help, but I haven't visited this forum in some time. I echo the response that you must give the Nova clubs some time and effort. Once you finally get your swing in shape, the beauty of the one-club, different loft, will simplify your game beyond belief. They are not "magic," just simplification of a ridiculously complicated game! If practice isn't helping your consistency, it is time to search out a coach that clicks with you. Just don't let that coach talk you out of your Nova's! (<;
