They were too much. Some of these programs like NDSU, Jacksonville St,etc.are on a different level. Junior college transfers, red shirts, the lack of tough academic requirements, etc. make it much easier to put together that kind of program.
For what it is worth, tho I am an avid fan our our program,I am sure we will never go there and we shouldn't.
Congratulations to the kids, the coaches and staff. It has been a wonderful year filled with accomplishment. They should all be proud of this year. We are proud of them.
Now let's do it again next year.

In football, you either get beat by a better team or you beat yourselves. SHSU was the better team. That being said, no need to run a gadget play, up 28 with little time left. Just poor style on KC's part. I felt like we were a year away prior to this season and the team showed great improvement each week. Certainly excited about the team's prospects for next season. Cannot wait for opening day!

Keeler is classless for running up the score, even his own players don't like him. Hunt would NEVER do that. BTW...How did you like all the orange hair, not gonna say it.

Like I said, get your shine box! Your team was overrated and over matched from the get go. You had no business in the playoffs and it showed yesterday but thanks for the practice time.your admin might want to think about moving your team down to Div 3 ball. You might be able to compete there.

SHSU had a 27 point lead and they attempted a gadget play. SHSU deserves a better coach than Keeler. Delaware finally woke up and fired him. Players at SH looked like a decent bunch and can't be faulted for the play calling. I do believe that on the student side of the student-athlete formula Colgate would get the win and that is just as important as points on the board.

Says the guy who's football team got bitch slapped. Tell me genius, were the coaches, players and fans under the impression that they were going to Texas for a spelling bee or a football game? Your excuses are a joke.

Yup.........we did bitch-slapped in Huntsville. i was there and saw it. And just about everyone I spoke with in the parking lot; at the game; etc all had a bit more going upstairs then you seem to.
With a 27 point lead - and if there were no bad-blood from previous years - logic would dictate to keep that gtrick play in your hip pocker for use in the semi - or the final - if you get there. Now that you've shown it, less of a possibility/probability taht that play can vebe successfully run again. We have no excuses and wish you well moving forward. What I will say though - is that is you run your program like a BCS program, then move on up and play with the big-boys. If you were BCS - as your program should be - you likely be the #6 or #7 team in Texas. Me thinks you stay FCS because you like whipping-up on programs that don't run with same "BCS mentality/resources" as you do.
............and by the way, if you want to start talking toothpaste, then i will start with your kinesiology major.

Bad logic might dictate that. However GOOD logic wants that play on tape for JSU, NDSU and Richmond to see. If they fear the HB pass, they'll hesitate on tosses which will give our RB's an extra step or two. You're not a coach. Stop trying to act like one.

LOL. Your athletic budget, along with every FBS team in Texas, is significantly higher than ours.
You people aren't nearly as bright as you think you are.

Yes please continue you to play the " we're just a little school why pick on us card". Must be that north east mentality. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight moron. As far as running the trick play when they did it was obviously for reasons you can't comprehend since you had no business being in the playoffs in the first place.
As I stated in another post you should consider the move down to div3 ball. More your speed.

Sorry for the mistake. You're right. Hall transferred to Delaware from Georgia Tech. and then went to the Philadelphia Eagles. Delaware has had many transfers, hard to keep them all in mind.

Transferred from Pitt and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens. But, Eagles, Ravens - both are birds, so you got that part right.
