Raiders sweep two from RIT over weekend. Now 3-2 and looking at last year's national champion, Providence, and QU for next several games. These tests will give us a measure of where we are in the hockey world this season.

Lucky to get a split frankly...Finn was the difference and God only knows what this team will look like when this talented senior class (minus two early) graduates this May...as we enter the new $38 million facility I am afraid the first year or two could be very difficult...you would've thought we would've enabled the program to max out scholarships (18 and not our current 16) and pushed for a roster size that is competitive with virtually every other team in DI...let's hope next year's freshmen class is very good...it better be

I agree we're hurting for next year, just like after our run in 1990. The rink was ruined and they took away 400 seats, brilliant !

Not Don's fault we are two short in schollies as Baun and Johnston left early, Baun expected, Johnston not, hanging the team out to dry in July.

If we can't recruit with this new rink, and schollies, we are running out of things to offer.

New rink! Both programs need to be at the NCAA limit for scholarships & have need based aid walk-ons. Lets go for it!

that should be the goal of the hockey program to get to the Trustees and make that happen.

A sweep by the Friars this weekend will only hurt us in the pair wise at the end of the season. Too bad we couldn't pull out last night's game. Boys played better but just enough lapses to let Providence win. Bummer!
