Bellowing quiet. Warming cold. Illuminating dark.

Deyt's steely eye meets that of her trainer, peering emotionlessly toward his silky white frame only inches shorter than her own. It slips away, traveling over the chuckling river and the well-worn stones, across the rich blue grasses and patches of fertile soil. Each pawprint and marring of the earth is taken in stride, as the gait of the monstrous Korat carries her beside the white. The usual distant, irrevocable sorrow and silence settles in her wake and pools about her scarred form, only to be broken by emotionless words. Contemplative words.

"...there isn't much left of me, Erashun.. time decayss all, given long enough, even those granted with the terrorss of immortality. As ssaid before... I accept your training with all my conciouss and what is left of my heart."

That foreboding, ever-so-grim gaze closes idly, as if shuttering away memories.

"...blackness...of the past...I musst never let myself forget.."

No warning is given. The gargantuan hybrid curves her ragged, torn, crooked tail, the duller arch of the weathered blade resting briefly on his shoulder.

"...comradess..."
