Subject: Watching from a respectful distance, having one of those arguments
In reply to: Erashun 's message, "((crimson droplets spattered across freshly-fallen snow))" on 18:32:33 03/22/03 Sat

Silent as a breeze, the large white approaches the river, hoping to get some time to clear her head. Far less silent, to her obvious chagrin, is the boisterous striped adolescent tagging along behind her. Rachedith then notices the group of others and pulls back, hoping she is not interrupting anything, waiting for acknowledgement before approching.
"Mom, why are you sitting there?" her daughter's voice breaks the stillness.
"Shut up, Adi. Need I remind you how many times I've saved your striped hide against my better judgement? Can you just this once be still when I'd rather not call so much attention to us?"
"Fine, I'm used to being pushed around. Doesn't mean I'm not sick of it."
"I should have severed your miserable head when you were born, but no.... I'm too much your mother to do that. Besides, you're all I have left to remember Nadora by."
Adi shuts up, but the dark look on her face is unmistakable. A dose of Koratian teen angst, coupled with the normal stresses of being abnormal, are taking their toll. She sits on her haunches several feet from her mother, her back turned to the entire proceedings.
