Absolutely gorgeous. If you ignore the massive sharp-edged boulders and the pummeling of the water, this is a very pleasant downstream float. Ringing laughter accompanies her words as Numi's perfected roll-kick takes her out of the way of another rock in her way. Labeling herself as insane for traversing a part of the river she never even saw before, the black's typical technique suddenly fails her as rolling becomes impossible, too many boulders on either side to afford that much room to dodge. I think that hail you mentioned is thickening, my friend! she cries by way of warning, a grin set firmly upon her sleek muzzle at the challenge presented. Best not to die in a simple game, she reminds herself, supple frame sliding serpentine around rocks with mere centimeters of clearance. As keen blue eyes catch an impassable barrier of jagged rocks ahead, Numi mentally laughs, a bit of insanity tainting her voice.

To btsa with living safely! she yells, finally forced to take a breath and, in that split second above-water, she catches the roaring sound of a smallish waterfall. Only a dozen feet at most. Diving back in and immersing herself in the churning muck deep in the river, the water colder but current less powerful here, she prepares. And, like a graceful dolphin showing off for her pod, Numi's sleek black form sweeps up and, a mere foot before she can impale herself on the sharp rocks, erupts into the warm clear air of summer--

Soaring over the rocks and arching in a dive towards the whitewater pool below, the waterfall's thunder pounding what should be a calm stretch of the river into frothy madness.
