Subject: "Still' was awesome

I can now see where Squab needed to be after this episode. I know, I know its supposed to be a stand alone but my mind while drifting off came up with this.... Kate had at least 5 minutes of alone time, again to ponder her death and what the consequences of it might be, and during that time she realized that there was more that she wanted from life ie more with her relationship and where her future was going. So we get Squab where Castle seems to see things as status quo and she needs reasurance that things are going forward.

I loved loved Captain Gates, she was great and I would really like to know when she figured it out.

Also did Javi look a little puffy in this ep?

I agree it made Kate re-evaluate what she wants out of life but Squab still felt to quick and that she was that unsure or ever unsure about Castle’s commitment when he is willing to die with you. Sure you wonder what comes next but to be so unsure with the rich guy felt wrong. Would have been better served with her talking to Lanie about what she was feeling. Just needed more build up to her feeling that uncertain especially after this episode at least to me. Maybe if she had tried to talk to Castle and he didn’t want to then maybe can see it. Can you tell have an issue with Squab, kind of think going to pretend never happened. This ep was amazing and do believe the best is yet to come. (NT) -- Hope, 13:25:28 04/30/13 Tue
