The black's head shakes with a blink, and he turns with a slight wince to the smouldering Atumi, ears falling flat to his sides as he is chastised... but gaze holding oddly firm with the angry pierce of teal. His tail falls from the exuberant height it had previously held, blade hitting the dirt with a listless thud. His gaze turns to the blind elder, his mind reaching out in the link that was supposed to be formed minutes before... and apologizes for not contacting the other Korat, and therefore putting both of them in a predicament that was entirely his fault. My apologies Phoemrut. The link is then removed, and Akar tilts his muzzle back towards Atumi. I believe everyone should hear my apologies mri'qua... and with quiet closure of eyes, Akar's mind reaches out with a feather-light touch (as it was his first attempt at telepathy for more then one Korat) to the packmates around them... before his emotionless tenor begins once more. I take full responsibility for not completeing the task you assigned mri'qua, but will offer no true excuse for such blatant ignorance. I believe excuses to be trivial wastes of time for mistakes that cannot be fixed, and the odd word of apology cannot do anything to replace the time already wasted. Because of this, I can only comment that I was lost in the new found glory of having a voice; and did not hear you. but acknowledge this does not serve as any reason for why I didn't speak with Phoemrut. Akar pauses a moment, paw raising to his forehead as a pounding headache sets in... and with a sot snort for his inability, finishes his speech with the mental link only connected to Atumi. I will accept whatever punishment you see fit for my indolence... But ask that you not punish the elder. He did nothing but fall into my own err.
