((I swear, this is the FIFTH time I've tried to post this. Bloody freaking btsa on a bouncing baby Quomai....*continues to swear enough to make a Koratian sailor (is there such thing? o_O) blush*))

No need for those apologies. The blame is not yours alone. Phoemrut communes to Akar, the smile on his whiskers as he turns his blind eyes and mental focus to Atumi turning more solemn and attentive, ears forward to hone in on the odd growly sounds the other black was making.

If I may be presumptuous enough to request that you do not lay sole blame upon the 'youngster' who believes that it lies with him, as he has told his packmates. If I myself had been receptive to his conversation, then indeed we would not be at fault. When two set out to hunt and the prey escapes, it is not the fault of one only, they have both missed the kill. Whiskers twitching, he shakes his head at the odd and somewhat cryptic saying, a gift from his own father and something to puzzle at.

It is not his alone. I have been an atrocious student and my facilities perhaps are fading and dulling well before my blade is. Turning to face Akar with that subdued amusement glimmering in his mindvoice, a smile reaches the battlescarred muzzle. Though it seems we are talking now, he voices to his fellow blacka flick of his tail sheening across the grass.
