She didn’t say much in reply, it wasn’t that she thought he was doing the right thing, no, it was more that she knew that was O, and that was a part of him that would be the last to change. Hallie didn’t want to change him, and she certainly didn’t want him to feel like she was pressuring him to change. “How’s your arm?” Her eyes glanced towards him, watching his features. She couldn’t help but think of how she’d missed him over the past few days. That’s what love did, pulled you in no matter how unlogical it is.
