My Pulsar (built by others) came with 2 seat cushions and 2 back cushions for both P1 and P2. I fly with 2 back cushions but I use a single really thin seat cushion that I cut from a high density foam carry mat. Even then my headset is so close to the canopy that I had to remove the foam padding on the top of the headband. But at least sitting high improves landing and taxiing visibility (taildragger plane), and gives me a calibrated warning to slow down in rough air (when my head contacts canopy).
