Hi, I have just had my Pulsar test flown for the LAA mag this week and tried to repeat the problem you describe which I get on occasion. Soon after I had completed a top end over haul whilst climbing out with full power, at about 2500ft I lost power and dropped from 5900 to about 5000rpm while I was on top of cloud, just enough power to maintain height. Easing back the throttle I eventually regained normal power. Ii have the Peery 56 x 44 prop with 2 : 1 Gear box ratio. My point is , that this happens to my engine from time to time. I have completed 70hrs since with out any probs. My view would be if both cylinder compressions were even your most likely ok, a leak down test may give better results of cylinder piston condition. You could ask Conair sports. Or fit the D Motor (-_-)
