Subject: Rectal thermometer

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with having you rectal temp taken or taking someone's rectal temp with the old fashioned rod/glass style thermometers and if so was it ever used as punishment?
Also does anyone know where I could maybe purchase one ? Also if you could design one specifically for punishment uses what dimensions would you want the thermometer to be etc. Would love to hear what everyone has to say and also would greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me where I could maybe buy one or who might have one and be willing to sell it etc.
