Because of my experiences in childhood and as a parent my feeling is - don't explain until it's all over, don't give them even more opportunity to resist and protest.
Just - two or more adults, grab the kid, pull their pants down, haul them over the mother's lap and she can stick the nozzle in.
Make it clear by actions as well as words that you the adults are in control and in command, of their bowel function as well as their general behavior.
