Felt like ever bulb syringe enema my aunt gave was painful!!😅
To be honest…they were not painful. But uncomfortable.

>and how were they administered?

First ones I remember were given across lap. Laying on tummy on a towel across her lap. Given when she sat on couch. Couldn’t see the enema bulb being refilled in the pan of solution. But could hear that sound it made in the water. Then moved back up me and the bulb was squeezed.

Ong yes! Cried, squirmed, fought …. Only one time I tried running away. When my aunt got me I got a very bad butt slapping. Bare hand on bare.

Few times the woman from next door would show up at the right moment…when I going to get or was getting an enema! My aunt told her to stay.
