I havee to say that none of the enemas I got as a child were really painful.

Most weere administereed gently on my bed where I was comfortable.
When there was pain, it was not severe, and the curiosity Iwould only have admitted it if it was painful enough to make me cry. That never happened bcause I was always told what was going on and WHY. I was told to commjunicate my feelings when I felt like I could not hold any more
