My mom had a few red bulbs syringes that were used for different things. The red 2oz "Infant Syringe" was used on my younger sisters. Dad used the solid red bulb syringe to clean his ears and showed me how to use it. The 8oz bulb syringe had interchangeable black nozzles that screwed into the threaded part, but she always used the enema bag for my older sister and I when we got an enema. I do recall that she changed the nozzles on the enema bag as my younger sisters got older.

One interesting bulb syringe appeared that had a thicker flexible nozzle. My older sister told me it was only used for douching and it wasn't always in mom's enema drawer in the bath vanity.

Years later, OHN sold a similar red syringe that held 12oz. It also had a second nozzle that was for rectal use. The nozzle had a larger bulbous end. I bought one of those as well as an "Antique" fountain syringe that was quite unique. It's too bad that Kristina no longer sells some of that equipment.
