I actually gave myself an enema with the new 8 oz bulb.
At the store a woman bought a 4 oz bulb ahead of me. She had a child about 4 in the shopping cart that had a runny nose. Besides the syringe she bought a rectal thermometer, a bar of Ivory soap, a jar of Vaseline and Vicks rub.
I smiled as I knew the 4 year old was going to get a soapy enema when they returned home.
